Hi there!
Just would like to drop a quick note before I rush off to my in laws place... Yes! Kaylene Jewelry will be at the This and That Bazaar on this coming Friday and Saturday, Clarke Quay.. It's from 6pm till midnight. Well, so you may ask, what's in store for me? Good news is that we will be giving fabulous discounts on the actual day. Afterall, bazaars is all about making you happy with great finds! Come visit us and see more and much more new items! I will also be doing loads of 'special SPECIALzz' on that day... here's a hint to you... Selected earrings at $18 each, buying 2? 2 for $30! Unique and Exquisite

Recently, I have received comments that the price for my items are pretty on the higher range. Generally, at Kaylene Jewelry, you get unique special pieces where you dont see any others wearing the same along the street. Several of my creations are One and Only Piece ~ Unique and Exquisite. The price you paid for is definately worth what you get. The materials used are all genuine gemstones/semi-precious stones. And these materials are of top grades as I chose them personally under strict guidelines. No defective or lower grade materials falls in my list. These materials used are Mother Nature's gift to us. They are natural and many times rare. Reasons I use these enhanced gemstones is very simple. I want to create pretty pieces at a good price. Thus I tend to have that in mind and would purchase enhanced materials. That explains why you dont see cheap plastic beads on my creations.

As a qualified fine jewelry designer, I do have minimum standards on my material purchases. There are cases where I will use glass beads and they are just so pretty till I cannot resist! These glass beads just add on to the sparkles and shine on my jewelry pieces.

Bazaar at Laissez Faire!

Wow, how time flies! I was busy preparing for this fair and before I know it, it has already happened! It was raining that afternoon and I was worried about sales. Thank goodness I chose the air-conditioned room and thus I was sheltered! Many thanks to EVE, my darling friend who help me loads in this fair.. Also to the new customers who bought from me... Like Adeline, Helen and many more! It was nice knowing you and hope we will keep in touch! It was considered a quiet day for a bazaar, but I am glad that I took part, the people at Laissez Faire were fantastic and I know more people from various stores. Met Jerlle, a loooong time friend and we had a good chat.

Mod Chic 1 and 2

I went to Orchard yesterday with a good friend and as I was suddenly inspired as I was walking through the crowd. I thought to myself, 'Think jade with thick chain' and so I did this 2 pieces first thing in the morning! A little more about these 2 pieces. Mod Chic 1 is shorter than Mod Chic 2. Both jade are very beautiful. MC 1 has spots of 'imperial green' on it and the color of MC 2 is relatively rare- Opaque white with grey. These 2 loose jade are my personal favourite and I have been keeping these two for a good design. Description are stated below. Think white collar shirt, jeans and stilettos with Mod Chic...
